About SageTutor
SageTutor is made by a team of English teachers and education technologists. We build practice that feels like the real computer-delivered IELTS, so test day holds no surprises.
Why we built it
Most IELTS candidates now take the test on a computer, but much practice material is still designed for paper. Reading a passage on one side of the screen while answering on the other, typing an essay against a clock, and listening while filling in gaps on screen are skills in themselves. We wanted a place to practise all of them together.
What we offer
- Full-length practice tests for Listening, Academic and General Training Reading and Writing, and Speaking.
- Timings, question types and screen layouts modelled on the computer-delivered test.
- Instant marking with an estimated band and an explanation, with evidence from the text, for every answer.
- Model Writing answers and Speaking sample answers with comments.
- Digital SAT practice: adaptive Reading and Writing and Math sections with estimated scores and an explanation for every question.
Our material
Every passage, recording and question on SageTutor is original and written for this site. We do not copy official or published test papers. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will fix it.
SageTutor is independent. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia or Cambridge University Press & Assessment, nor by College Board (SAT is a trademark of College Board). Our band and SAT scores are estimates; see how IELTS scoring works.
